Large antique hardback [sans dust jacket] in very good condition.   Near identical to the first edition w/ "book club edition 1949" printed in rear corner of cover.

Cover shows visible shelf / cub wear.  Pages are bright and read flawlessly.  Small spot of discoloration to margin of title page.   Otherwise reads as new. 

Little Bear is so pleased with the picture he has drawn that he asks Hen to take it to his grandmother. Grandmother is so happy with it that she sends him back a thank-you kiss.
