Rare gorgeous llustrated adaptation of the classic Perrault fairy tale by John Fowles, author of The Magus and The French Lieutenant's Woman. 

Hardcover w/ dust jacket in excellent condition.   

Custom refurbished ex-library copy with stamp on title page.   Dust jacket is in very nice shape with a few nicks and a small catalog sticker on spine.  Now housed in a new archival quality brodart jacket protector. 

Book itself reads good as new.   Mild tape remainder marks to cloth.  Pages are clean, bright and vibrant with no visible wear.
