Cujo by Stephen King

FIRST EDITION / 8th PRINTING [1981] THE VIKING PRESS

Hardcover with dust jacket in very good condition.

Dust jacket has a few sealed edge tears; but is overall, clean, sturdy, in tact and very attractive.   Underside has a piece of clear tape, and some dye transfer from book cloth.

Book itself is excellent.  Cover and boards are pristine.  Text block is beautiful.  Contents read like new.   Only flaw is a small dye stain along spine on front endpaper. [see last photo]

Outside a peaceful town in central Maine, a monster is waiting. Cujo is a two-hundred-pound Saint Bernard, the best friend Brett Camber has ever had. One day Cujo chases a rabbit into a bolt-hole - a cave inhabited by sick bats. What happens to Cujo, how he becomes a horrifying vortex inexorably drawing in all the people around him makes for one of the most heart-stopping novels Stephen King has written.
