Mega Rare 1971 paperback printing of Didion's first novel.  Extremely rare cover art.

Book is in very good reading condition.  Cover does show visible wear; creasing along spine.  

Inside, Small nick to text block, visible on first dozen pages or so [see last photo].  Also what looks like a small water stain visible on far edge of title page. 

Joan Didion's electrifying first novel is a haunting portrait of a marriage whose wrong turns and betrayals are at once absolutely idiosyncratic and a razor-sharp commentary on the history of California.
