Rare 1935 1st edition of this occult book about the spirit world. 

Hardcover with dust jacket in very good condition. Dust jacket has several sealed tears but is fully in tact; a few cropped edges on panels.  Tanning and some spotting to rear.  Original jacket price still in tact.  Looks great in a new HQ brodart jacket protector. 

Book itself is stunning.  Light wear to purple embossed boards.  Tightly bound and reads beautifully. 

The title of this book is taken from the last words spoken to the author by her father, as he passed to the Spiritual World. He saw the "bridge" across the "great gulf", and wished his daughter to know there is a means of communication between the two worlds.  The messages that she has received from Professor William James, her husband, mother, father and other relatives and friends make up this book.
