Hardcover with dust jacket. DJ has general shelf wear, a few minor edge tears and one larger, sealed tear down top front edge.

Underside of DJ has a black water stain [no water damage] transferred from cloth portion of book cover, which presumably once got wet.
Cloth portion of book cover has some water induced desaturation and a few spot stains as well. Inside, the pages read nicely and binding is sound.

One crack to spine along the title page and some general soiling to page edges. Overall, a very nice reading copy of this rare first edition, despite its flaws.
