Book is gorgeous, like new.  Black leatherette spine with gold embossed title and adornments and features the original illustrations of Pauline Bayne from the first edition.  Inside reads like new; pages are bright white and unmarked. 

Dust jacket has some visible wear to front side; but is overall in Very Good condition.
