Between the Acts by Virginia Woolf [UK FIRST EDITION]
FIRST EDITION / THIRD IMPRESSION HOGARTH PRESS
An extremely rare, true first edition, published in London, 1941, by the Hogarth Press. Dust jacket is overall in excellent condition; some mild discoloration, a touch of shelf wear, and some minuscule edge tears. Front panel also has a line of blue marker blacking out the print number.
Book itself is equally excellent. Mild shelf wear along edges of cover and spine. Cover is clean with minimal discoloration. Inside is pristine, pages have some subtle tanning.
In Woolf's last novel, the action takes place on one summer's day at a country house in the heart of England, where the villagers are presenting their annual pageant. A lyrical, moving valedictory.
