Hardcover with dust jacket in very good condition.   Dust jacket is very good, in tact with some edge / shelf wear.  Tearing along top of spine and some surface scuffs.  Back has a few small stains.  Front panel has been price clipped. 

Book itself is excellent with teal leatherette cover.   Looks and reads like new! 

Separated from his regiment during a retreat, Rifleman Matthew Dodd of Wellington's army engaged the French single-handedly and eventually causes their retreat. If you liked "The Gun," you will love this book.
